Monitoring of mining processes 

After the mapping and analysis of mining activities, the main parameters in the extraction and processing activities of ceramic raw materials have been identified.

The monitoring of the parameters constitutes a first major step for the development of Mining 4.0.

For this reason, within the REDiRECT project, Eurit has studied and prepared a sensor system to be integrated with the ITC systems. These systems will allow continuous survey and analysis of production variables and their trends, thus allowing the transition to Industry 4.0 in the mining sector.
