ICARO UNIMORE is an experimental project organized by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia that educates and trains students in innovation, in a path of excellence based on concrete experiences that bring young people closer to the entrepreneurial realities of the territory and their business culture. The aim of the project is to put at work heterogeneous and multidisciplinary teams of 5 students each to give innovative answers to real challenges posed by local businesses. The duration of the training course is 4 months and includes numerous training activities, contact with companies, project-work.
Through the REDiRECT project, Gresmalt has launched two challenges to two groups of students, with the aim of understanding how to transfer and communicate the value of ceramic bodies and glazes that derive from a circular economy process. The two teams nicknamed "Ceramici" (Giandomenico Rigato, Alberto Marano, Giovanni Anniballi, Domiziana Dattola, Anna Spartà) and "GRE.EN PASTI" (Martina Canazza, Susanna Munari, Stefano Sgubbi, Lisa Volpi, Leonardo Corradini) developed innovative solutions starting from the proposed challenges. The solutions have been presented to the project team and to the involved stakeholders during the final event in July 2021.
