End of national georesources
study activities

A first part of Unical's activities involving the study of georesources present on national territory has been completed.

With the objective of identifying and validating systems and models for the proper use and exploitation of mineral georesources for their use in the ceramic industry, a methodological approach was followed that included the complete description of three mining sites in the Calabria Region and two in the Tuscany Region. Through the collection of information on geological characteristics, mining, possible transformation activities, evaluation of discontinuities, environmental and landscape constraints, it was possible to define and assess environmental and landscape impacts.
