Secondary raw materials for the ceramic industry

IOne of the objectives of the REDiRECT project is the production of circular raw materials.

Eurit is proceeding in the implementation of the Buddusò site for the treatment of Sardinian granite.

In this production unit, the scrap materials coming from the granite sector of the Buddusò area (gray granite) are processed to obtain a product with a low content of chromophores, which is suitable for the ceramic sector.

The secondary raw material obtained not only contributes to the reduction of the exploitation of primary resources, but it also contributes to the reduction of the dependence on abroad for feldspar materials.
