As part of the dissemination of the REDiRECT project results, a scientific contribution in the form of a poster was presented at the SIMP-SGI-SOGEI-AIV 2023 Joint Conference, held in Potenza (Basilicata) from September 19 to 21, 2023.

The poster, entitled “REDIRECT Project (REDuce REuse Ceramic Tiles): from the circular economy to a sustainable economy,” illustrates the research path of the REDiRECT project and the transition from a predominantly theoretical vision of the circular economy to a broader and more operational approach to sustainability. The contribution fits into the scientific context of the conference, dedicated to geosciences and their applications in production and environmental processes.

The presentation offered a summary of the main lines of activity of the project, highlighting the integration between the circular economy, impact assessment, and the development of sustainable industrial models. In particular, the poster highlighted the role of raw materials, extraction processes, and industrial supply chains in supporting a transition to more efficient and responsible production systems.

The presentation of the contribution during the poster session facilitated discussion with the scientific community, allowing for the sharing of results, methodological approaches, and development prospects for the REDiRECT project. The initiative represented a further opportunity to strengthen the dissemination of the project's content in an interdisciplinary and international context.
